The Thanksgiving Dinner Cake
For Thanksgiving dinner with our family, I brought this cake. It was a huge hit! This was a two layer cake - vanilla and chocolate, with buttercream frosting, finished off with fondant & various details.
"Patricia is my go-to cake woman now. I will never buy another store bought cake for any special occasion. Her ingenuity and artistic expression are beyond compare! I have never had a cake from her that didn't exceed my expectations. She takes everything to the next level. She is professional and timely, and the price is always right. My children know that their birthday cakes are coming from Patricia and they start planning their cakes well in advance because they remember the last cake she made for them so vividly. It is obvious from the quality of her work that her cakes are her passion. She puts her heart into each one. Not only are they always beautiful and exciting but they are also delicious! Patricia is the best cake maker/decorater around! Hands down!" --Keeley Condie
"Patricia is wonderfully clever, and does really cute cakes. I asked her to make a birthday cake for my son, who is a phlebotomist in a hospital. The realistic arm she created looked ready to have its blood drawn, clenched fist and band on the upper arm and all, and she finished the scene with the appropriate gauze and band aids and a syringe, all out of fondant of course. Perhaps this particular cake is not your style :) , but it was a huge hit with my son and his friends. They were especially impressed when they cut into it and saw layered flesh-toned and blood-red cakes -- Patricia thinks of everything! I found that Patricia really listened to what I wanted, then suggested extra details (like the band aids) beyond what I had expressed to make my cake just right. She lives really close to me, so I went to pick it up, and was glad that she had prepared a solid base for it so the almost life-sized arm could be transported securely and with great stability. My son lives a good hour away, so I was pleased that I could deliver his cake with confidence. I was very happy with her service and her product." --Eileen Leite
"Patricia, I have had several of your cakes now and they have all been amazing, this one did take the prize though. It looked completely amazing and all four tiers were delicious. I especially love the fact they were all different flavors and that you made it with frosting and not fondant, it made it taste home made yet it looked professional. Not to mention the gorgeous flowers you had wrapping up it and the silver border you had on every tier. My parents loved it and said it completed their anniversary. You truly have a gift, your doing all of my cakes in the future. I cant tell you enough how much everyone loved this cake." --Dana Bergan
